Too blessed to be stressed
Wow! I can't believe it's been 20 years!  Life is good and God is awesome!  I have been blessed with a wonderful husband of 17 yrs- Pete, and 2 handsome boys- Jacob (7) and Nicholas (3).  I work as a registered nurse and love my job!  We live in Martinsville, but I work in Danville and Pete works in Roanoke, so we are all over the place!  We have an incredible church family and spend a great deal of time there hanging out with rowdy teenagers, which keeps us young (at least on the inside)!  We enjoy traveling, being involved in BoyScouts, and just enjoying our family & friends!  Looking forward to see you all! from Lynn Gillespie Belton

20 years in the life of Cheryl Amos Hardy

I should have thought earlier in the classmate section to elaborate further on my life.  After graduating in 1987 with all of you wonderful classmates I went on to work and college. In 1989 the Lord led me to met my soulmate for life.  Thomas Hardy he moved down here from Bradford , Pennyslvania where he had lived here 5 years prior to me meeting me.  We went out and both knew that the rest would go down in history.  We have been happily married  now for 17 years and have brought together into this world three very accomplished,  and talented sons.  I work as a Paraprofessional for the Franklin County Public School System this is my 7th year.  My husband is manager and oversees Pelican Point Yacht Club for 23 years.  We love spending time at of course beautiful Smith Mountain Lake.  We motor boat, sail, ski, wakeboard in the summer,  And enjoy retreating to Massaunetten to Snow Ski in the winter.   We also enjoy watching our sons grow and compete in their sporting events.  We reside in Glade Hill close to the lake.  We are so very, very blessed!!  See you soon!!!!!!!!!!!]'

Class of 1987 Reunion Night!

What a blast there was to be had on the night of October 27, 2007.  If, you need not or could not make the reunion what a treat you missed!  It was a night full of delicious food,  drinks, getting reunited with classmates and friends.  Rekindling old friendships and of course let us not forget the great night of dancing with the wonderful class of 1987!  Let us face it.  There is not everyday in our lives that we get to celebrate being out of high school for 20 years.  High School was great and I was so glad to be able to have the privilege to get reunited with all of those outstanding and successful classmates of 1987.  It was excellent to see all who made it.  We missed all of you that didn't.  Come on I know there are great pictures and stories.  Take Care Class of 1987.

Remember me?

It was October, 1980, and high school football was in full swing. We would gather at the game, and spend the next two hours either walking around with our girlfriends or trying to find one. I moved to Atlanta that month and year, and you guys have never left my mind. My last memory at the middle school was telling Mr. Garrett ( Science, one gray eye, one brown ) I did not care about going to the principal's office for being late to class for walking Leah Robinson to her class, because I was moving in a week...Dee sat two chairs down from me, and man was she cute...I remember a lot about those days, because I have been nostalgic for them ever since we left. Take care ya'll, and I hope you guys are all well. Remember me? John Lowe, Class of 1987...
