Looking forward to seeing everyone!!

I went on to graduate from Virginia Tech in 1991 with a degree in Economics. After 4 years in Management, I began a career in Sales, Estate Planning, and Real Estate. That's what I have been doing for the last 12 years. Currently, I took a few months off my Sales career when I was asked to be the Director of Rural Development for the Charles Poindexter campaign (Republican) for the 9th District Virginia House of Delegate's race. In my spare time, I have coached Rec League Basketball for 8 years and hunt all I can get away with in the Fall & Winter months.

I have a Son, Evan, that is Sophmore at FCHS now. Man, does that change your point of view on life!! He is currently working on a Basketball Scholarship to Duke University, where he has been invited to attend Summer Camps the last 2 years. 2 years ago, he won the 3 Pointer Shooting Contest there. My Step-Son, Brentlee, is a PFC in the US Army stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas. He served as a 2nd Lt. in his HS ROTC program. I am very proud of both of them!! I consider being a Father the most important job that God has blessed me with!!

We moved back to Franklin County back in 1999 after living in Martinsville for 7 years. My Son and I live in Burnt Chimney. My family ties are very deep here but one day I plan to make a trek out West to Montana...Big Sky Country...and on to Alaska to chase those amazing Kodiak Bears!!
